Japanese, (1643–1682)
Kano painter. According to the Kano genealogy, she is said to have been daughter of Tan'yu's niece and Kusumi Morikage; wife of Kiyohara Hirano Morikiyo, a pupil of Tan'yu. Her work~ also owes much to Tosa Mitsuoki, being a combination of Kano and Tosa elements.
