Japanese, (?–1626)
Unkoku painter. Pupil, and perhaps son, of Hasegawa Tohaku, the contemporary and rival of Unkoku Togan. Although Togan had won the suit against Tohaku over the right to use the name Unkoku, Toteki used seals that read "Unkoku Toteki." -- Roberts, L. Dictionary of Japanese Artists (1980)
